At Caring People Alliance, we know that raising kids takes a village — so does managing your family’s needs, your budget, your work, and a million other things that life throws your way. That is why we are here to help you. We provide convenient and responsive support to address issues and circumstances that threaten our communities’ wellbeing.

From nurturing individuals and families to entire communities, Caring People Alliance provides a wide range of services. Our community centers in West, North and South Philadelphia provide high quality childcare, Boys & Girls Clubs afterschool and summer programs, senior services and more. Our centers provide convenient and responsive support to the issues and circumstances that our communities face every day. We support families in every neighborhood in the City through our Early Learning Resource Centers – from finding quality child care that meets your family’s needs, to determining your eligibility for child care subsidy, to working with child care providers to help them achieve the highest levels of quality – our Early Learning Resource Center is your one-stop-shop for child care needs.

 

South Philadelphia Community Center

Our South Philly location supports children and elders in the same building. That includes a full range of Boys and Girls Club activities for school aged children including after-school and full day summer programs. On any given day the center may be alive with children working on STEM projects or receiving individual tutoring while seniors are participating in a zumba class or rehearsing a play for an upcoming theater production.

 

West Philadelphia Community Center

The CPA West Philadelphia Community Center in Mantua offers a state-licensed, high quality (Keystone STAR 4) free preschool for children aged 3-5, providing programming for Head Start, Pre-K Counts and the City’s PHL Pre-K, fee to City residents. School aged children and youth benefit from Boys and Girls Club programs in afterschool hours and full day summer programs, STEM academies in collaboration with Temple University College of Science and Technology, as well as many other programs aimed at community children including: swimming lessons, music appreciation, computer technology, and more.

 

R.W. Brown Community Center

Our North Philly location offers a full range of programs for youth of all ages, including high quality (Keystone STAR 4) early learning centers – including the City’s new PHL Pre-K program that is free to any Philadelphia resident, Boys and Girls Club programs for school age children in afterschool hours and full day summer programs, STEM academies in collaboration with Temple University College of Science and Technology, school year teen programs including the UPS-funded Road Code beginner’s driving program, and summer teen employment. The Center boasts a full sized gym, swimming pool, and computer lab and provides nutritious snacks and meals.

Important Notice: Germantown Avenue Office
Starting on Monday, March 11th, 2024 the Germantown Avenue office will not be open to the public due to construction. Drop box services will remain available between the hours of 8:00 A.M. and 5:00 P.M.
During this time full services will be available at the Main Office (Welsh Road) and Satellite Office (Chestnut Street).
