The Early Learning Resource Center (ELRC) Region 18 assists families with finding, selecting, and paying for childcare. We currently have the following employment opportunities available: 

  • Eligibility Specialist
    • Brief description: responsible for all activities related to the determination and redetermination of eligibility of applicants and clients for subsidized childcare services; enhanced resource and referral services: ensuring compliance with funding source requirements through the use of automated client management and reporting system; and maintaining all files, records, and documentation.
    • Locations:
      • Main Office, 2373 Welsh Road
      • Satellite Office: 2816 Germantown Avenue
      • Satellite Office: 5548 Chestnut Street, Second Floor
  • Accounting Specialist
    • Brief description: responsible for reviewing, validating, reconciling, approving, processing, and distributing payments to child care providers based on their invoices, attendance records, STARS payments for grants and awards, site visits, and other criteria; and for maintaining provider payment files and records
    • Location: Main Office, 2373 Welsh Road
  • Provider/STARS Specialist
    • Brief description: serves as the point of contact for assigned child care providers within the CCW and Keystone STARS program; establishes and maintains new and existing provider agreements and contracts
    • Location: Main Office, 2373 Welsh Road
  • Administrative Assistant
    • Brief description: responsible for providing administrative and clerical support; functions and responsibilities include providing word processing, providing administrative support for the Call Center services; maintaining files and records; answering and providing information on ELRC services via telephone calls and routing faxes;
    • Locations:

      • Satellite Office: 2816 Germantown Avenue
      • Satellite Office: 5548 Chestnut Street, Second Floor

All positions are entry level and require the following:

  • HS Diploma or GED

  • Strong customer service skills

  • Computer savvy skills

  • Knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Access)

  • Ability to successfully pass background checks

Starting on Monday, March 11th, 2024 the Germantown Avenue office will not be open to the public due to construction. Drop box services will remain available between the hours of 8:00 A.M. and 5:00 P.M.
During this time full services will be available at the Main Office (Welsh Road) and Satellite Office (Chestnut Street).
